Chewy's bolster chowchow aka "oxygen tank"
Real name or Nickname: chewy
Age: 20
Location: Singapore/Australia
My chowchow is called: my oxygen tank (Courtesy of my favourite brissy friends, Mich Sam and Don.)
My chowchow is a...: magnificent and beautiful looking bolster.
Number of chowchow years it has lived: 20
History of my chowchow: My bolster lives a wonderful life with a happy family, comfy home-made jumper suit and a precious history of drool! Something I've been relying alot on to fall asleep since I was a baby! Lots of sentimental value and smell :)
When was the last time your chowchow had a bath?: Between a period of 6 months to 8 months. I won't want it to disintegrate in the washing machine. Its already nice smelling on its own.
My family's relationship with my chowchow: They absolutely love my bolster! Frequent incidences where my brothers want to throw it away cos they are jealous since they either don't have any as my mom threw it away when he was probably 10, or cos it fell off the window while catching some fresh air.
My mom fights to take care of it by bathing it and keeping it clean, like how she'd bathe a baby. An example of a conversation I'd have with my dad about my bolster: "Daddy, do you think my bao zhen (bolster) has grown taller?"
My bed partner's relationship with my chowchow: My chowchow is my partner, and vice versa. Kenny hates my bolster cos he can't stand up to reality that it is cuter than him.
Finally, I love my chowchow because…: It has been standing by me for the past 20 years, through all the laughter, tears, drool and pee! I can never take my eyes off this gorgeous looking thing.
